The employees truly made our stay enjoyable, but
the cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the staff was attentive during our stay, but the lack of free Wi-Fi was surprising for a Marriott.

The lobby stood out as the most visually appealing part of the hotel, and the fitness center was impressively clean, with complimentary bottled water available. Dining options were delicious, particularly the creamy tomato bisque that I couldn't resist returning for. While the staff offered excellent service, the overall room decor felt dated and in need of an update. Unfortunately, the sauna and steam room were out of order during my stay, which was disappointing.

Nice stay with a few hiccups
We stayed for 3 nights in a queen room. The lobby was super nice and the fitness center was clean. The restaurant was surprisingly good! But we did have some trouble with bugs during our stay, which was really unfortunate. Staff could’ve been a bit more responsive to our concerns.

beautiful lobby design, convenient parking garage, spacious common areas
Inconsistent room availability is frustrating!!! It would also help to have better safety measures in the fitness center. Also, please improve bathroom cleanliness standards, as peeling wallpaper makes the space less inviting!!!

I enjoyed the spacious and beautifully decorated common areas, which were very accessible for me as a senior. The inviting atmosphere made me feel comfortable and welcome throughout my stay in the Spartanburg Marriott.
More senior-friendly amenities would be helpful.
