Nice surprise on the way

We stopped in Spartanburg and were super pleased! The garage parking was free, which is rare. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was really nice. Our room was big and clean, just what you'd expect from a Marriott. Breakfast was included and tasted great. Only bummer was the drinks were pricey. Overall, good stay!

We had a pleasant stay with the kids, enjoying the fitness center and the amazing breakfast buffet. The lobby was really beautiful, and our room was spacious and perfect for a family. Plus, it was just a short walk to some great dining options.

My kids wished the pool had been open. it would have been a fun way to spend some time together.

The club room had awesome snacks and drinks available all day. The free eclipse party was a cool bonus for guests! My group of eight enjoyed our time here, especially the cleanliness.

I enjoyed the spacious and beautifully decorated common areas, which were very accessible for me as a senior. The inviting atmosphere made me feel comfortable and welcome throughout my stay in the Spartanburg Marriott.

More senior-friendly amenities would be helpful.

i had a wonderful stay at marriott. the front desk staff were so pleasant and helpful. my queen room with two queen beds was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable! plus, the parking garage made it easy to come and go. i loved having a refreshing plunge in the pool too.

Had an awesome time with friends at the hotel! We enjoyed the outdoor terrace with live music and visited nearby Renaissance Park and Barnet Park for concerts. Rooms were clean and comfy. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. Just a heads up, drinks can be a bit pricey, but overall, a great experience!

Comfortable Stay with Friendly Staff

Enjoyed my three-night stay with my family! The staff went above and beyond to provide extra towels and were incredibly accommodating. We loved dining at the onsite restaurant, especially the breakfast options. Pro tip, check the restaurant hours for better planning.

The outdoor terrace with live music was a delightful surprise for our family! Enjoying the sounds while the babies napped in their strollers made for a perfect evening. Staff were attentive, especially the charming Chasity, who helped us settle in comfortably.

In my wife’s opinion, the noise from the bar area disturbed the babies' sleep. Providing soundproofing or white noise machines would be great for families with little ones.

Nice stay with a few hiccups

We stayed for 3 nights in a queen room. The lobby was super nice and the fitness center was clean. The restaurant was surprisingly good! But we did have some trouble with bugs during our stay, which was really unfortunate. Staff could’ve been a bit more responsive to our concerns.

The lobby stood out as the most visually appealing part of the hotel, and the fitness center was impressively clean, with complimentary bottled water available. Dining options were delicious, particularly the creamy tomato bisque that I couldn't resist returning for. While the staff offered excellent service, the overall room decor felt dated and in need of an update. Unfortunately, the sauna and steam room were out of order during my stay, which was disappointing.

The lobby area felt welcoming and was well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant arrival. Staff interactions were very polite, making me feel valued throughout my stay.

The room, while clean, had minor signs of wear that could be addressed for future guests.
